Meet the Band 
Al Carmichael - Guitar/ Vocals
Carmichael is the consumate musician. He began playing at age 1, played his first gig at 15, began writing songs at 16, and started playing professionally at 20. One of the founding members of the southern rock band Radar in the 1960's, his touring experience includes the national folk circuit with Peter Bowen, and country/country-rock with Bliss, the Honkey-Tonk Angels, and Bustin' Loose. His numerous industry achievements include 500 session hours at Holland-Dozier-Holland studios during the '70s and while under contract with Nashville's Shedhouse publishing he co-wrote the #1 national country hit "What kind of fool do you think I am" with Gary Griffin, plus songs for Davis Daniel, Dawn Sears, The Smokin' Armadillos and Johnny Rodriguez.. With BlueCat, Carmichael handles lead guitar and vocals on the majority of the bands work, and authored 4 songs on thier current CD Blueprints.

Ken Murphy - Drums/Percussion
Murphy is a born percussionist. With no musical influences from his family, he naturaly started drumming at age 3 by banging out accompaniments to nursery rhymes, and never stopped. Though he has played all over the country with bands ranging from pop to rock his roots are deep in Detroit. In the '70s he played with Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, was a jazz drummer as part of the Detroit Institute of Arts/ WDET public radio arts movement, and formed the house band for John Sinclair and the Fifth Estate newspaper. He worked with a number of Motown session musicians, and was involved in the early formatoin of the Sun Messengers. In the '80s he led his own trio at Resturant Duglass for 2 years, then toured with the J.C. Heard Big Band. Today finds him providing the motive force behind the unique BlueCat sound.
Tim Garrick - Guitar/ Vocals
Garrick first picked up guitar at age 11 and never looked back. Influenced by his parents -- his dad was a Big Band booking agent and his mom played violin -- Garrick joined his first band at age 14. He went on to tour the U.S. and Europe with the band Captain Daddy, opening for acts such as Tom Petty and the Hearbreakers and the Pretenders. Garrick later joined the band Comstock Lode, and also did session work with the Atlanta Rhythm Section and other Capricorn Records artists. He lists his musical influences as including Peter Green, Eric Clapton and John Mayal, embracing the roots of blues music into his current performance and writing. With Bluecat, Garrick trades off on lead guitar and vocals work with Al Carmichael. He authored six of the 14 cuts on the band's current CD Blueprints.
